Mendez & Sanchez Opens Honduras Office

Mendez & Sanchez announced the opening of its newest operations office in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, marking a strategic milestone in the firm’s international growth. The expansion represented a long-term investment in talent, infrastructure, and operational excellence, all aimed at strengthening support for the firm’s growing and diverse client base.

The grand opening, held in February, was celebrated with firm partners and strategic allies, as well as special guests from JT Legal, underscoring the spirit of cross-border collaboration that continued to drive the firm’s vision.

The Honduras office initially housed approximately 60 employees across key departments, including human resources, marketing, intake, and front office operations, with plans to expand as the firm’s needs evolved. The 700-square-meter facility was designed to support secure, efficient workflows and foster a collaborative team environment, consistent with Mendez & Sanchez’s established operational standards.

Beyond operational growth, the new office reflected the firm’s long-term commitment to investing in people and the local community. Mendez & Sanchez committed to creating stable, professional employment opportunities and supporting skills development in the region as part of its broader strategy for sustainable growth.

“For me, this opening was deeply personal.” said Michael Sanchez, co-founder and managing partner of Mendez & Sanchez. “Honduras played an important role in my upbringing during my father’s diplomatic service. Establishing a presence there allowed us to invest in local talent while giving back to a country where many individuals have had to migrate north due to limited economic opportunities.”

All Mendez & Sanchez teams, regardless of location, operated under strict non-disclosure agreements and firm-wide policies governing data protection, access controls, and quality assurance. Operations within the Honduras office were conducted in compliance with U.S. security protocols and strict internal NDAs, ensuring that client data is handled with the highest level of care.

“Just like in the U.S., our team in Honduras was guided by the same high standards when it came to oversight, quality, and security.” Sanchez said: “Protecting our client's trust was a shared responsibility, no matter where we operated.”

The event was attended by local business and government authorities, who praised Mendez & Sanchez’s investment in the region and its contribution to economic development.
